From far away the elephants can be heard making trumpeting sounds with their trunks. They are all busy collecting large branches.
Just as Trumpy, the smallest elephant, wraps his trunk around a branch, there is suddenly a loud squeal. It was Mathilda, the superior elephant, as she was terribly frightened of a mouse sitting on the branch, sticking its tongue out at her.
The other elephants eagerly go on collecting, as the one who collects the most branches will get an extra portion of the delicious elephants' pudding in the evening.
