Pre-Ordered and Unavailable Items
- If your order contains an out-of-stock or pre-order item, the entire order will be delayed until all items are available for shipment. If we are notified that the estimated pre-order arrival date will be delayed, we will update the site immediately with the new date. We will not send out individual email notifications to customers. Please check the list of release dates for pre-orders on our home page frequently for date changes if your order contains a pre-order game.
- Payment is processed automatically though the website at the time that you place your order. All payments are processed through PayPal and FirstData. Thought Hammer does not store any credit card information, and therefore cannot process charges at a later date.
- Orders are processed in the order they are received. When a game is low in inventory, there is a chance that two customers will place the game in their carts at the same time. Once the first customer confirms his order, the game will be removed from inventory. Please pay close attention during the check-out process. All games that are not in current inventory will be flagged with three red asterisks, and a comment will appear stating that these games are not available at the time of order. Also, if your order includes a game that is not currently available for immediate shipment, you will receive an automated email upon order confirmation. This email will list all games in the order that are not in stock. Your order will not ship until all games in the order are available. If you decide that you would like your in-stock games before all games in your order are available, please contact us and we will discuss your options on how to arrange shipment.
Thought Hammer is not responsible for delays in the release of pre-order games, or for games that go out of print. Placing a pre-order or back-order does not guarantee availability. We are at the mercy of game publishers and distributors for game availability. However, we update our site as soon as we receive and confirm news that a game has been delayed or has become unavailable. We will not notify each customer individually of a game delay, but we will notify customers if their order contains a game that has become unavailable.
- On rare occasions, inventory errors occur. If our inventory program shows a game is in stock on your order confirmation email, and we discover that it is actually unavailable, we will contact you to resolve the situation. We will offer one of the following two options:
- Remove the out-of-stock game and provide you a 5% discount coupon off of your next order.
- Ship the out of stock item separately when it becomes available.
- This will not involve any extra cost to the customer.
- These guarantees do not apply to Ding & Dent games since they are very limited in number and not always available.
